Fallout 4 - Found MLP Easter Egg · 10:52am Nov 11th, 2015
So, spoilers, however:
No hidden text, nothing cryptic, just good ol' "it's been there in plain sight" fun!
Find it and I might let you cram a guest chapter into the story. :P
Easter's here everybody! Whoo!
...
But why doesn't it feel like it for me? *whines*
Well even with that, I know just the thing to review for today. Now I would have picked one of the other movies I've done, but I think something Easter related would be Peter Cottontail! Hehe. So let's not waste time, let's get into a piece of childhood nostalgia.
For those of you not in the know, the recent chapter features an easter egg.
Try looking for the link among the text.
So I finally gave in and watched the leaked finale.
It was awesome. Liquid pride may have attempted to make an appearance. Don't tell anypony.
About 5 minutes into the first half of it, I noticed something awesome. This is that moment of geek.
Just an announcement for those who care and haven't yet heard: It looks like there'll be another hour-long Equestria Girls special airing next Saturday, starting at 11:30 EST. (I'll be in the middle of the Core Set 2019 prerelease at the time, but that's what recording is for.)
Of course, that doesn't explain the blog title. Certain eagle-eyed folks on Derpibooru combing through the latest promo do:
So! This was fun. Right? Right!
I loved getting messages from people thinking they'd found a hidden secret, and there are a couple I wanted to call out here because I thought they were great (albeit completely unintentional).
Animators are awsome!
Easter Egg
Riddle me this, what do you think of when you think of Easter? Christ rising from the dead or bunnies that shit chocolate and other confectionaries?
Ahem, totally not jelly because almost everyone in the world gets to gorge themselves on Easter eggs while I would shit myself if I try to do so because I'm lactose-intolerant.
But on a happier note:
I'm just curious, I placed certain "details" on Burning Heart, (the song above being one of them), but there are more, did you found them?
Everyone!
Vincent789 speaking,
I forgot to type this in the author chapter, but there are few things I would love it if you guys did this instead!
There were many references, from which a few non-existing stories, I would love it if a writer of their own story would look at my stories, hidden within my story and write their own way of the way I wrote it!
Maybe much more and maybe better stories will turn up at FimFiction,
I hope that this year will be special,
So, this is something I imagine Tempest creating when she meets Thorax, Pharynx, and Ember (I might also mention it in my Descendants of the Isle series-keep an eye out for that little easter egg)
Start at Minute 15 and ends at Minute 45. That's the range I'll give you. Enjoy scavenger hunting.
Welcome to my second DYK (Did You Know) post. This DYK's topic is "Stories of Days Gone By."
"Stories of Days Gone By" was my first story on Fimfiction. It takes place shortly after season seven, episode 13, "The Perfect Pear." If you have not yet read this story, there will be spoilers ahead. Using the spoiler BBCode, I'm concerned that half of my post will be black bars, so my discussion will follow after the break.
Happy Easter Everyone! Hope you all have a great day filled with chocolate eating. Unfortunately, I only got one Easter Egg, but oh well.
You might recall that one of Ponyfeather Publishing's first titles was The Purloined Pony, by Chris. He and I were both very pleased by its reception at the BronyCon bookstore, and I hope everyone who purchased it there or online is enjoying their copy.
